UWT Now Offers a Spring J-1 Program for Thailand University Students

United Work and Travel, a division of American Pool Enterprises, Inc. now offers a spring J-1 Summer Work/Travel program for university students from Thailand. These students come to live, work and learn the American way of life in Ocean City, MD. Spring time in Ocean City is when the town and local businesses prepare for the upcoming summer tourist season.
The students learn about the local culture and see the city get ready for the first wave of tourists arriving in late April. The United Work and Travel Office in Ocean City, MD, located at 2805 Philadelphia Avenue, Suite #3, is happy to have the Thai students from March – June and show them the beauty of Ocean City. United Work and Travel will give them knowledge of the area, help them get acclimated and provide many positive cultural exchange experiences. The excitement when the students see Ocean City and the Atlantic ocean for the first time is priceless.
During the most popular weekends, the city hosts between 320,000 and 345,000 tourists, and up to eight million visitors annually. During the summer, Ocean City becomes Maryland’s second most populated town.
