We specialize in bringing a different type of employee to your workplace. United Work and Travel makes it possible for eager students and workers from around the globe to enter the United States on a J-1 or H2B Visa and work for a period of 3-10 months while living among the community in which they work. Seasonal workers are usually between the ages of 18 and 28, and they come to the United States completely insured with medical benefits. These students bring an outstanding work ethic and can enrich any work environment through cultural diversity.
United Work and Travel's screening process has been developed so that you, the employer receive quality employees who will make a positive contribution to your organization. We provide an overseas screening process, overseas and homeland orientations, and a local coordinator both in the U.S and overseas to answer any questions or alleviate any concerns that a participant may have.
Housing for these students can either be organized by the employer with the help of United Work and Travel or left up to the responsibility of the students. Housing that is organized by the employer can be payroll deducted out of each paycheck for a pre-determined amount that each student will sign off on.
There is no cost to your company for offering employment to seasonal job participants. Most seasonal workers make between $7.00-$8.25 per hour based on the type of job.
